We’re excited to debut our pillow collections which feature Kantha Embroideries and Hand Block Printed styles. We hand-selected the highest quality Kantha fabrics while in Jaipur earlier this year and delivered them to craftspeople we’ve worked with for years to do the highly detailed embroideries on top of the hand stitched vintage Kantha bases.
Our Hand Block Printed pillows are on 100% GOTS certified organic cotton canvas and are hand printed by artisans we’ve worked with for decades. Each impression varies according to the amount of color applied to the block, how much pressure the craftsperson uses, and so on. The variations created are highly prized and give our fabrics an almost hand painted look. The pillows are finished with a self cord and have a hidden zipper at the back with a custom tassel on the pull.
